My

When I started my pelvic floor therapy clinic, I had to navigate the exciting-yet-frustrating world of business ownership by myself. With a 10-month-old on my hip and about to become pregnant 2 months later (surprise!), I was the epitome of chaotically trying to bandaid over mistakes I made. With trial, error, ADHD hyperfocus, and way too many late-night Google rabbit holes, I figured things out.

Fast forward when I began clinically coaching pelvic health OTs in 2021: I saw the same exact struggles happening in others. These were talented, passionate clinicians who were trying to start their own businesses, but drowning in decision fatigue. Between pricing, marketing, systems…the social media DMs and emails felt endless, and I knew I could help. I started business coaching as well.

There was one problem that kept popping up that I actually loved helping with: websites and branding. My coaching clients would either DIY their websites and feel very indifferent or negative towards them, or feel like they couldn’t even get the hang of a website system like Squarespace or Wix. They’d tweak it endlessly, second-guessing every detail, and wasting hours working inside of their business instead of on their business.

So when my family decided to move to The Netherlands to be closer to my family there in 2025, I knew it was time to start Danika Johanna Consulting & Design. Your business, no matter how small or new or big or growing, deserves a brand voice that feels exactly how you want it to. And while I don’t pretend to be a graphic designer (logo creation is simply not in my wheelhouse!), I absolutely love creating websites and coaching you on your business to make sure that it’s presence reflects your impact on this world.

My business reflects what I love most: coffee ☕, deep conversations, real connections, and that gezellig feeling of warmth and coziness. I don’t love small talk, but I thrive on helping health & wellness professionals feel confident and empowered when it comes to their businesses.

At the end of the day, I believe that if you’re in this space and you’re showing up, serving your community, and making a difference…your business deserves to shine. And I’m here to help make that happen.

Gezellig: a Dutch word for a positive emotion or feeling encompassing coziness, quaintness, and a feeling when you get when you’re surrounded by loved ones or seeing a loved one after a while apart.

What’s up with the coffee theme?

This honestly started as a joke to my husband, but then I realized that coffee represents everything I love about life: deep conversations, warm connections, and routines.

And as with any good business, I wanted this one to align with me and my values. And let’s be real: is there anything better than the feeling that you get when you’re at a secondhand bookstore with a cafe inside where you can meet with a friend and talk about anything on your mind? Mmmm, wat gezellig.

That’s the energy I bring to business coaching and website design. I want my clients to feel like they’re sitting across from a friend who genuinely wants to see them succeed. No fluff or gimmicks…just real talk, clarity, trust in each other, and a plan that actually works.

PS - you can total be a tea person, or a matcha person, or a “just here for the pastries” person. These cozy vibes are for everyone!
